Veterans Muhammad Abdul Saeed, Col. Yawar Advance in 45+ Doubles
Islamabad- The KC Jinko Solar National Juniors & Seniors Tennis Championship is underway, showcasing the country’s top tennis talent. The tournament has attracted players from across Pakistan, competing in various categories.
In the Juniors Under 18 Singles, Ahtisham Humiyon from SNGPL ousted Haziq Asim of Islamabad 6-2, 6-4 in the second round. Other notable winners include Muhammad Yahya, Hamza Asim, and Ruhab Faisal, all from Islamabad.
In the Boys Under 14 Singles, Laraib Shamsi and Zayed Zaman advanced to the next round. Ansarullah, M. Muaz, and Ruhab Faisal also secured victories.
The Ladies Singles quarterfinals saw Daliah Shazim and Eschelle Asif dominate their opponents, winning 8-0 each.
In the Girls Under 14 Singles quarterfinals, Khadijah Khalil from Lahore edged Raniya Bus in a thrilling match, 2-4, 7-6, 10-5.
The 45+ Doubles category saw Muhammad Abdul Saeed and Col. Yawar defeat Zeeshan Malik and Latif 8-2.
