RAWALPINDI: Taxila police apprehended an arms smuggler and intercepted a consignment of illegal weapons and ammunition intended for Rawalpindi.
The suspect, identified as Irfan, was caught transporting 25 pistols and several 30-bore magazines in his vehicle. The arrest was made following a strategic operation led by SP Potohar Division Nasir Nawaz.
Nawaz explained that the Taxila police, acting on a tip-off, stopped and searched the suspicious vehicle, leading to the discovery of the arms shipment. The vehicle was seized, and Irfan was taken into custody.
