Islamabad: (Web Desk)- Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and Senate Chairman, Acting President Yousaf Raza Gillani, praised the University of London for its role in enhancing educational standards in Pakistan during a ceremony honoring a visiting delegation from the university.
Minister Tarar described it as a privilege to address the gathering and commended the University of London’s long-standing commitment to quality education. He highlighted the benefits Pakistan has gained from experienced educators and noted that collaborations with the university continue to grow stronger, expanding educational opportunities for youth through globally recognized programs. He also lauded the university’s focus on innovation, research, and continuous improvement, emphasizing that future cooperation will further strengthen Pakistan’s educational framework.
Acting President Gillani described the University of London as a leading global institution and stressed the importance of international collaboration in improving Pakistan’s education system. He highlighted the government’s reforms to tackle the national education emergency, particularly addressing inequalities affecting girls and marginalized areas. Gillani emphasized that investment in education is a foundation for Pakistan’s future, citing the National AI Policy 2025 as a milestone for youth empowerment through technology and digital learning.
