Islamabad: Provision of quality services to consumers, uninterrupted power supply and quick and timely redressal of electricity related complaints are the first responsibility of IESCO officers and staff. For uninterrupted power supply, a strong distribution system and timely maintenance of this system is essential. Works such as overhauling of transformers, trimming and bush cutting of lines near 11 KV feeders, balancing of distribution transformers, replacement of low capacity transformers and poles are in progress which will ensure uninterrupted power supply during summer season and the system will be protected from overloading. The annual system maintenance program is directly supervised by Chief Engineer Operations Muhammad Aslam Khan and he also conducts unannounced visits to various locations to ensure quality maintenance and safety of staff during work. System maintenance program is timely uploaded on IESCO’s website www.iesco.com.pk for the convenience of users. In addition, power outage information is provided to registered users through SMS. The shutdown on feeders is also being uploaded on the twitter account @XEN-DCC for informing the consumers.
