Syed Haider Shah Appointed as Pakistan’s New Ambassador to the Netherlands

Ambassador vows to resolve PIA flight issues and support overseas Pakistanis

ISLAMABAD: Syed Haider Shah has officially assumed his role as Pakistan’s 23rd ambassador to the Netherlands. With a diplomatic career spanning over two decades, Shah has previously held key postings in the United States, India, and Nepal since joining Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1995.

In an exclusive interview with Jang, Ambassador Shah expressed that “every Pakistani is an ambassador of the country,” emphasizing the crucial role of overseas Pakistanis in representing the nation’s true identity. He highlighted their contributions to Pakistan’s development and assured the Pakistani community in the Netherlands of his full support.

Shah also committed to addressing the challenges faced by overseas Pakistanis, including efforts to restore PIA flights and tackle other pressing issues.
