Law enforcement agencies conducted a joint intelligence-based operation in Swat’s Charbagh area during the night of October 4-5, resulting in the deaths of two militants.
The operation, marked by an intense exchange of gunfire, led to the elimination of two militants, including a key external leader, Attaullah. Another militant was apprehended in a wounded condition.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Attaullah had been involved in multiple terrorist activities, including a bomb attack on a police vehicle escorting foreign dignitaries on September 22.
To address the possibility of additional militants in the vicinity, a clearance operation was conducted to ensure the area’s security.
