Supreme Court Launches Anti-Corruption Hotline to Tackle Bribery
The recent appointment of new judges has further improved case processing times.
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan has launched a dedicated Anti-Corruption Hotline to tackle complaints of bribery allegedly demanded by court staff for case fixation or providing attested copies of orders and judgments.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi emphasized his commitment to ensuring transparency and accountability in the judicial system. He stated that his priority is the speedy disposal of cases, noting that in the past five months, 11,779 cases have been resolved, compared to 7,633 new filings.

The CJP assured that all cases will be decided on merit and urged the public to report any staff member or outside individual demanding bribes. Complaints can be registered via WhatsApp at 03264442444.

The Anti-Corruption Hotline operates 24/7 and allows citizens to report misconduct through phone, online portal, email, or text messages in Urdu and English. Identities of whistleblowers will be protected. Reports will be independently reviewed, with resolutions provided within 30 to 60 days, depending on case complexity.
The Supreme Court reiterated its zero-tolerance policy against bribery and backdoor dealings, assuring that public grievances will be addressed fairly and promptly.
