Doctors Warn Super Flu Symptoms Rising, Urge Masks and Vaccination

LAHORE: Punjab is witnessing a sharp increase in cases of super flu and other viral infections, with a growing number of patients suffering from flu, cough, chest infections, pneumonia, and fever in various regions of the province.

According to a private TV channel, more than 47,000 patients were reported at five major government hospitals in Lahore over the past week. Mayo Hospital alone received over 10,000 patients, while Jinnah Hospital reported more than 9,000 cases and Services Hospital treated over 8,000 patients during the same period.

Medical experts say common symptoms of super flu include cold, flu, cough, high fever, and difficulty in breathing. Doctors have advised citizens to wear masks and get vaccinated against the flu to prevent further spread.

Health experts have also warned that people with weak immune systems are more vulnerable to super flu and have urged them to take extra precautions.
