Sujawal Police Crack High-Profile Robbery Case Involving Polish Tourists

Sujawal (Kamran Khamiso Khowaja): In a major breakthrough, Sujawal police successfully apprehended two individuals involved in the robbery of a Polish tourist couple on December 29 at the Sujawal-Badin bypass. The arrested suspects, identified as Maqbool Hathiyar and Nadeem Ubauro, were taken into custody on Friday following an intense investigation.

District Police Chief Dr. Khalique Pirzada revealed that modern investigative techniques, including guidance from the DIG Hyderabad, were employed to trace the accused. The police were able to recover two mobile phones, which were confirmed to belong to the Polish tourists, Kowalczyk Jakuo Tomasz and his wife, Scantamburlo Mae Elisabeth.

Dr. Pirzada commended the efforts of the Sujawal police, particularly the instrumental role played by IT experts in solving the case. He assured the public that every effort would be made to bring the remaining suspect, Imran, to justice. Imran, believed to be an accomplice of the arrested suspects, is still at large.

The robbery took place when the couple, who were cycling along the bypass, was stopped at gunpoint by the robbers. The criminals stole their valuables, creating an alarming situation that initially tarnished the reputation of the local police. However, Dr. Pirzada expressed his gratitude for the swift resolution, which helped restore confidence in the force.

As a gesture of goodwill, the SSP of Sujawal and his team presented traditional Sindhi caps and Ajraks to the Polish tourists to demonstrate their appreciation and ensure future cooperation.
