Student Critically Injured in Vicious School Attack in Bahria Town; Protest Planned
The victim is currently hospitalized in critical condition, caught in a battle between life and death.
RAWALPINDI (Israr Ahmed) A horrifying incident of extreme bullying and alleged administrative negligence has shaken the community at a prestigious school in Bahria Town, leaving a young student fighting for his life.
The brutal attack occurred on Tuesday, August 20, 2025, at the Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan School and College in Bahria Town Phase 8. According to reports, during recess, a group of fifteen 8th-grade students allegedly targeted one of their classmates.
The assault was severe. The victim was not only beaten badly but was also lifted and his head was smashed into the glass door of the school’s cafeteria. The force of the impact shattered the glass into pieces, which became embedded in the student’s head.
Shockingly, it is reported that members of the school’s administration and security staff were present but remained mere spectators, watching the “bloody game” from a distance without intervening.
The injured student was first rushed to Bahria International Hospital. However, doctors there, declaring it an attempted murder case, refused treatment and advised the family to approach the police immediately. They further instructed that the student be transferred to a government hospital for treatment and for the necessary Medico-Legal Report (MLR) to be filed.
The victim is currently hospitalized in critical condition, caught in a battle between life and death.
In response to the traumatic event and what they call the school administration’s sheer incompetence and failure to protect a student, outraged parents and members of civil society have announced a protest demonstration. The protest is scheduled for today, Monday, outside the school gates, demanding justice and accountability.
