Strong earthquake shakes multiple cities across northern Pakistan

A series of tremors rattled Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.

Pakistan – A 4.5-magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and several Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cities, with tremors also felt in Haripur, Khanpur, and Swabi. Authorities confirmed no immediate injuries or structural damage.

Earlier, a magnitude 5.3 earthquake struck 72 km north of Gilgit in late March, followed by several aftershocks, making it the strongest quake in Pakistan in nearly a month
