RAWALPINDI: Strong Armed Forces Essential for a Strong Pakistan_COAS,In a stirring address on the 77th Independence Day, Army Chief General Asim Munir emphasized the critical link between national unity and military strength, declaring that weakening Pakistan’s armed forces is tantamount to weakening Pakistan itself.

Speaking at the Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, where the Independence Day parade was held, General Munir highlighted that discord and internal strife can erode the nation’s strength from within and pave the way for external aggression. His remarks were delivered as part of the official celebrations marking the historic day.

General Munir underscored that the foundation of Pakistan’s national consciousness is rooted in the ideology of Pakistan. He extended his congratulations to all citizens on this significant occasion and reflected on the sacrifices made by the ancestors to achieve not just a geographical entity, but a homeland with a distinct identity.
