Street Child Football Team Tours UK, Making Pakistan Proud

Street Children Rise Through Football and Hope

ISLAMABAD: The Street Child Football Team of Pakistan has embarked on a remarkable tour of the United Kingdom, showcasing their talent and resilience while making the nation proud on an international stage.

During the tour, the team played against some of the best Premier League foundation clubs, including West Ham United Foundation and Luton Town Foundation, giving the young players a chance to experience top-level competition and display their skills against world-class opponents.

Rehan Tahir, Project Lead of the initiative, expressed his pride and optimism, stating, “These children are the future of Pakistan. Their journey reflects a powerful message of hope for thousands of street children who are otherwise trapped in the cycle of child labour. Football has given them an opportunity to dream big and change their lives.”

This inspiring initiative has been made possible through Muslim Hands, which is committed to giving these children the right to play, the right to dream, and the right to education. By standing shoulder to shoulder with prestigious football clubs, Pakistan’s street children have shown that given the right platform, they can rise to international recognition and inspire change for countless others back home.
