SRK Unveils ‘Shahrukhz’ Tower in Dubai, Project Sells Out for Over ₹5,000 Crore

Danube announced that it plans to take the Shahrukhz concept global

Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan brought star power and humour to Dubai as he unveiled Shahrukhz, a 55-storey commercial tower named after him—only to learn that the entire project had already sold out for over ₹5,000 crore.

At a grand Bollywood-themed launch event on December 9 at Expo City Dubai, attended by more than 6,500 people, Dubai-based Indian real estate billionaire Rizwan Sajan announced that all 488 units in the tower had been snapped up due to massive demand for office space on Sheikh Zayed Road.

“Shahrukhz by Danube is sold out,” Sajan declared while showcasing a miniature model of the tower, which is expected to be completed in 2029. The building will feature a statue of Shah Rukh Khan in his iconic arms-outstretched pose at the entrance.

Shah Rukh responded with characteristic wit, joking that he had hoped to buy office space himself:
“I thought I’d come here, launch it, and then buy a couple of offices… now I won’t get even one?”

Sajan teased a potential solution—and also hinted at a second SRK-branded tower—saying, “Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.”

Danube announced that it plans to take the Shahrukhz concept global, with upcoming towers in New York, London, Delhi, and Mumbai.

The Shahrukhz development spans 1 million sq ft and includes units priced from AED 2 million. It offers 35 high-end amenities, including a sky pool, helipad for air taxis, valet services, and executive lounges. Commercial spaces range from 460 sq ft to 11,000 sq ft.

Buyers will benefit from Danube’s 1% monthly payment plan and may qualify for Dubai’s 10-year Golden Visa. Investors will pay 20% upfront and then 1% monthly for six years on the approx. ₹4 crore units.

Reflecting on the honour, Shah Rukh Khan said, “To see a project of this scale in Dubai carry my name is both an honour and a reminder of how generosity and vision can come together. Dubai has always embraced me with warmth.”
