SRK, Alia Bhatt & Ranbir Team Up for High-Voltage Ad

Fans are enjoying the unexpected cinematic thrill

Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have joined forces—not for a film, but for a high-octane advertisement that has taken social media by storm. The star-studded commercial has triggered massive online buzz, with viewers marvelling at its scale, production quality and presumed budget.

The advertisement, promoting Rungta Steels and directed by Siddharth Anand, brings together the three actors in a playful Bollywood crossover. Shah Rukh Khan reprises his Jawan avatar Vikram Rathore, complete with salt-and-pepper hair and swagger, while Ranbir Kapoor channels his Brahmastra energy. Alia Bhatt appears as Rani from Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.

The action-packed narrative begins with Ranbir landing a punch on Shah Rukh and warning him, “Protect your head, Vikram Rathore. Don’t forget who you are again.” Shah Rukh fires back with a witty jab at Ranbir’s ‘agni-astra’, sparking a stylised face-off. The clash is humorously interrupted by Alia’s Rani, who scolds them for destroying her kitchen and later directs them to continue their fight near a steel pillar that “won’t break easily.”

Online reactions have been swift and entertaining. Reddit users and social media commentators praised the ad’s entertainment value, with many calling it more fun than recent big-screen releases. Others were stunned by the scale of the production.

“Production quality better than movies,” one user wrote, while another joked, “That’s steel money.” Several fans questioned the budget behind the campaign, with one comment reading, “Who buys steel rods by looking at these ads?”

Many viewers also lauded the convincing action choreography and the actors’ commitment to their roles. “The punches actually feel real until it turns comical,” one fan noted, while another summed it up as a “treat of an ad.”

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear next in King, directed by Siddharth Anand and scheduled for release in 2026. Alia Bhatt will be seen in the action thriller Alpha and later reunite with Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War.

For now, fans are enjoying the unexpected cinematic thrill—served not in theatres, but in a steel-strong advertisement.
