Sri Lanka Finalize Squads for Upcoming Pakistan and Zimbabwe Matches
Dilshan Madushanka has been ruled out of the ODI squad due to injury, and Eshan Malinga has been included in his place.
COLOMBO: Sri Lanka announces ODI and T20 squads for Pakistan tour, which includes a bilateral ODI series with Pakistan and a tri-nation T20 series against Pakistan and Zimbabwe.
Sri Lanka’s ODI and T20 team will be led by Charith Asalanka.
The last match between Pakistan and Sri Lanka was played in the Super Four of the Asia Cup 2025, where Pakistan defeated Sri Lanka to reach the final.
Dilshan Madushanka has been ruled out of the ODI squad due to injury, and Eshan Malinga has been included in his place.

Mathisha Pathirana will also miss the tour of Pakistan due to a respiratory infection. Asitha Fernando has been included in the team as his replacement.

T20I squad: Charith Asalanka (C), Dasun Shanaka (VC), Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis, Kusal Perera, Kamil Mishara, Kamindu Mendis, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Janith Liyanage, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushan Hemantha, Dushmantha Chameera, Nuwan Thushara, Asitha Fernando, Eshan Malinga.
