Sri Lanka Defeats Zimbabwe by 8 Wickets in Third T20

With this win, Sri Lanka wrapped up the T20 series on a high note.

Harare – Sri Lanka cruised to an 8-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the third T20 match held in Harare, successfully chasing a target of 192 runs in just 18 overs.

Batting first, Zimbabwe posted a competitive total of 191 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Tadiwanashe Marumani top-scored with 51 runs, hitting 6 fours and a six. Captain Sikandar Raza contributed 28 runs, while Ryan Burl added 26 to the total.

In response, Sri Lanka dominated the chase with impressive batting performances. Kamil Mishara played a brilliant knock of 73 runs, supported by Kusal Perera, who scored 46, and Pathum Nissanka, who added 33 runs.

On the bowling front, Wanindu Hasaranga (or if you meant “Hemanta” as in the original — needs confirmation) took 3 wickets, while Dushmantha Chameera claimed 2 wickets, effectively restricting Zimbabwe’s progress.
