Islamabad: National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has rejected the demand for new vehicles by the chairmen of standing committees.
According to National Assembly sources, the chairmen had requested new vehicles from Speaker Sadiq, despite the existing ones being in perfect condition. Sadiq dismissed the demand, stating that procuring new vehicles would harm the national economy.

It is noteworthy that the chairmen of standing committees already receive new vehicles, office facilities, fuel allowances, and other benefits, along with their monthly salary, allowances, and additional perks as Members of the National Assembly.
