South Africa – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) -Cricket South Africa has announced its squads for the upcoming tour of Pakistan. The team will play two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20 matches starting October 12. Fans are excited about new leadership, a few squad changes, and the return of a familiar star player.

In the Test team, Temba Bavuma will miss the series due to a calf injury. Aiden Markram will take over as captain, leading South Africa with fresh energy. The test squad will leave for Pakistan on October 7. Spinner Keshav Maharaj will play only in the second Test, helping him stay fit while still giving experience in spin-friendly conditions.

For the shorter formats, David Miller will captain the T20 squad. Matthew Breetzke will lead the ODI team, giving young players a chance to shine under his guidance. These new leaders bring fresh excitement to the series.

One of the biggest surprises is the return of Quinton de Kock. The star wicketkeeper-batter is coming out of retirement to play in both ODIs and T20s. Fans are looking forward to his explosive batting and safe hands behind the stumps.

The tour will start with two Test matches. The first test is from October 12–16 in Lahore, and the second is from October 20–24 in Rawalpindi. These matches are part of the World Test Championship, so both teams will aim for strong performances.

After the tests, the three-match T20 series begins in Rawalpindi on October 28, followed by two more matches in Lahore on October 30 and November 1. These fast-paced games will allow both teams to test new players and strategies.

The tour will finish with a historic ODI series in Faisalabad from November 4 to 8. After 17 years, the city will once again host international cricket. Fans are thrilled to welcome top-level cricket back to Faisalabad, making this a special finale for the tour.
