Khawaja Asif, Somali Envoy Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk)- Sheikhnur Mohamed Hassan, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Somalia, paid a courtesy call on Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif on Tuesday.
The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, during which both sides exchanged warm greetings and discussed matters of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif highlighted the longstanding friendly relations between Pakistan and Somalia, noting that the bilateral ties are rooted in shared values and strong people-to-people connections. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued support for peace, stability, and capacity-building initiatives in Somalia.
The Somali ambassador expressed gratitude to the government and people of Pakistan for their consistent support and cooperation over the years. He also appreciated Pakistan’s contributions towards peace, development, and stability in Somalia.
