Sohail Afridi accuses Punjab, Sindh rulers of blocking rallies
KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi slams Punjab, Sindh, vows nationwide PTI movement, praises Karachi rally support from people amid obstacle
Karchi – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi on Sunday strongly criticised the Punjab and Sindh governments, accusing them of unfair treatment toward PTI supporters. Speaking at a large rally at Bagh-e-Jinnah in Karachi, he said authorities in both provinces had created hurdles for the party and failed to provide a level playing field.
Afridi announced that the next phase of PTI’s movement would move towards Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, pledging to take former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s message to every corner of the country through a nationwide street campaign. He thanked the people of Sindh, especially Karachi, saying the huge turnout showed strong public support for Imran Khan.
The Sindh government has crossed all limits. It is deeply shameful that by blocking entry roads into Karachi, CM KP Sohail Afridi and his convoy were forced to wander for nearly five hours. This reckless act endangered the life and safety of an elected public representative.

He remarked that those who believed Imran Khan’s political role was over should witness the gathering, adding that supporters are always ready to respond whenever a call is given. Afridi praised Karachi residents for successfully organising the rally despite limited facilities, accusing the Sindh government of creating obstacles that were ultimately overcome by the public.
Claiming PTI’s growing influence in the city, he said the turnout proved the party was Karachi’s true representative. Afridi also accused the Sindh government of showing disrespect toward Sindhi cultural symbols, including the Sindhi cap and ajrak, warning that such actions would not be forgotten by the people.
He alleged that the PPP, in collaboration with others, had altered the constitutional structure and established what he termed a “dictatorship” in Sindh.
The KP chief minister said the public was ready to march towards D-Chowk and was only awaiting Imran Khan’s call.
“We will not allow anyone to snatch our rights or keep the nation’s leader behind bars without justification,” he declared, adding that the alleged fascism witnessed in Sindh would always be remembered.

He concluded by urging supporters to remain prepared and maintain their passion, saying that the party would act strictly in accordance with Imran Khan’s instructions.
