Snowfall in Murree, Abbottabad as Punjab Enjoys Rain

Rain and snowfall hit Punjab, Murree, and Abbottabad, bringing chilly weather, tourist rush, and scenic winter beauty across the region.

Rain and snowfall – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – On Thursday, the provincial capital Lahore, along with several other cities in Punjab, experienced rainfall that brought pleasantly cool and chilly weather.

According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, rain and thunderstorms are expected across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northern regions, including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan, starting January 21, as a western weather system approaches.

Showers were also reported in Khushab, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, and the surrounding Lahore areas.

Rain and snowfall have started in Murree and Abbottabad. After the rain and snowfall, the intensity of the cold has increased. As soon as the snowfall began, tourists gathered on Murree Road from hotels.

Despite the cold weather, heavy machinery has also been brought to remove snow from Abbottabad.
