SNGPL Hosts Inauguration Ceremony for First All Pakistan Badminton Tournament

SNGPL VP Applauds Efforts, Highlights Commitment to Sports

Lahore — Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) marked a major milestone in the promotion of national sports by inaugurating its first-ever All Pakistan Badminton Tournament. The event, organized under the banner of the SNGPL Sports Cell, kicked off with a grand opening ceremony attended by players, coaches, officials, and dignitaries from across the country.

The tournament brings together over 200 athletes, including 140 male and 60 female players, representing a wide array of regional and departmental teams. Participants hail from Punjab, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir, and leading national institutions including the Pakistan Army, WAPDA, Police, Railways, POF Wah, and Sui Northern Gas.

In his address during the inauguration, the Vice President of the SNGPL Sports Cell expressed heartfelt gratitude to all guests, players, coaches, referees, and organizers. He commended their commitment and tireless efforts in making the tournament a success, emphasizing the company’s broader vision to support athletic excellence and foster healthy competition.

“SNGPL remains committed to uplifting the sporting spirit in Pakistan,” he said. “We are proud to be actively promoting sports such as cricket, badminton, tennis, squash, mountaineering, climbing, and more.”
