SM Qureshi shifted to hospital due to chest pain

Hospital sources confirmed that Qureshi was moved under tight security arrangements.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) senior leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi has been transferred from Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) after experiencing chest pain.

According to prison authorities, Qureshi had initially complained of discomfort while in custody. He was first examined at the jail hospital, but doctors recommended further medical evaluation, prompting his admission to PIC.

Doctors at the hospital have conducted various tests, including blood work. Initial medical reports indicate that his condition is stable. However, further examinations are ongoing.
