Sirbaz Khan Becomes First Pakistani to Conquer All 14 Peaks Over 8,000 Meters

Sirbaz Khan has made history as the first Pakistani mountaineer to scale all 14 of the world’s peaks over 8,000 meters, according to a Friday announcement by the Alpine Club of Pakistan (ACP).

“This incredible achievement reflects his deep passion and commitment to mountaineering,” stated Karrar Haidri, ACP Secretary, in a press release.

Sirbaz has braved some of the harshest conditions, from the towering heights of Mount Everest to the formidable K2. Confronting freezing temperatures, dangerous avalanches, oxygen-scarce altitudes, and the ever-present risk of crevasses, he has consistently shown remarkable resilience and endurance.

Haidri further noted, “His success is not just a personal milestone but an inspiration for climbers around the world. Sirbaz Khan’s journey is a testament to the power of perseverance and thorough preparation, securing his legacy in the history of mountaineering.”
