Sindh Government Declares Holiday in Schools for Shab-e-Barat
KARACHI: (Web Desk) – The Sindh government has announced a holiday in educational institutions across the province on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat.
The Sindh School Education Department has issued an official notification stating that all government and private schools in Sindh will remain closed on February 4.
According to the notification, the holiday will apply to all educational institutions in the province, allowing students and teachers to take part in religious worship and related ceremonies on Shab-e-Barat.
Earlier, the Punjab government had also announced a province-wide holiday in educational institutions on the same occasion.
Punjab Schools Revise Timings Effective February 2
Parents and students have welcomed the Sindh government’s decision, while school administrations have completed preparations for the holiday. The announcement will provide students an opportunity to participate in religious activities, and academic operations will remain temporarily suspended across the province.
