Sindh govt unveils Rs25,000 scholarship for minority students

Applicants must belong to minority communities and be permanent residents of Sindh.

KARACHI: The Sindh government has introduced a scholarship program for thousands of students from minority communities.

According to the provincial minority affairs department, to be eligible, students must have passed their exams from the previous year with a minimum of 50% marks.

Additionally, applicants must belong to minority communities and be permanent residents of Sindh.

These scholarships are designated for students whose parents earn a monthly income of Rs 35,000 or less, with each successful applicant receiving a grant of Rs 25,000.

Furthermore, last week, the Sindh government launched a job portal aimed at creating employment opportunities for citizens. This portal will include job listings from both government and private sector organizations.
