Sindh Government Bans Plastic Water Bottles

The Sindh government has enacted an immediate ban on plastic water bottles in all government offices across the province.

A recent notification from the authorities mandates that officials must now use jugs and glasses for drinking water instead of plastic bottles.

This action was prompted by concerns from the Chief Minister of Sindh, who highlighted the environmental harm caused by plastic bottles during a cabinet meeting. All government departments have been instructed to implement this new policy.

According to a provincial government spokesperson, the ban is effective immediately and is applicable to all public offices in the province.
