Sikh Delegation Visits Historic Sites in Khyber District and Peshawar
Peshawar-(Special Correspondent/Webdesk): A fifty-member delegation from the Sikh community toured Jamrud Fort, Fort Balahisar, and Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh, revisiting historical Sikh-era sites in Khyber and Peshawar.
Traditional Dances and Museum Exhibits Mark the Occasion
The visit included a cultural celebration with traditional Punjabi dances to music by the Frontier Corps North Band, and the delegation praised the preservation of Sikh-era artifacts displayed in Fort Balahisar’s museum.
Religious Rituals Performed at Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh
The Sikh visitors also performed religious rituals at Gurdwara Bhai Joga Singh, expressing gratitude for the Pakistan Army and Frontier Corps North’s commitment to safeguarding Sikh heritage sites.
