Siemens Healthineers CEO Khurram Jammel Calls on President Asif Ali Zardari
President Zardari met with Siemens to discuss advancing cancer care and digital health technology in Pakistan.
ISLAMABAD, October 17, 2025: Mr. Khurram Jameel, Chief Executive Officer of Siemens Healthineers Pakistan & Afghanistan, called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadr, today.
Matters related to enhancing cooperation in Cancer Care as well as the overall healthcare infrastructure of the country were discussed. Particularly topics of medical technology, imaging diagnostics, and Artificial Intelligence in digital health solutions were touched.
Saudi Arabia and the US are negotiating a defense accord.
The President appreciated Siemens Healthineers’ role in supporting Pakistan’s healthcare sector and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting innovation and investment in such health services and initiatives.
Senator Saleem Mandviwalla was also present during the meeting.
