Sialkot PSL Owner Pledges Investment in Cricket Infrastructure
Pakistan Super League franchise Sialkot owner Hamza Majeed said on Saturday that investment in cricket infrastructure would be a top priority.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, Majeed said reviving community-level cricket in Sialkot was his primary objective. He announced that Jinnah Stadium would be revamped and upgraded to meet modern standards.
He said significant investment would be made in cricket infrastructure, with local players given first priority. He added that discussions were also under way with foreign players to strengthen the squad.
Majeed said Sialkot would serve as the franchise’s home ground and that local talent would be preferred in team selection. He expressed confidence that with hard work and proper planning, the team would move forward successfully.
