This is Shraddha’s first biopic role, and the project has already generated significant excitement among her fans.

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor sustained a toe fracture while shooting a Lavani dance sequence for her upcoming biopic Eetha, based on the life of Tamasha legend Vithabai Bhau Mang Narayangaonkar.

The incident occurred on location when Shraddha, weighed down by over 15 kilograms in a vibrant Nauvari saree, heavy jewellery, and a kamarpatta, lost her footing during a fast-paced sequence set to Ajay-Atul’s music. The injury forced the team to pause shooting temporarily.

Sources told Times of India that Shraddha handled the setback with professionalism. Instead of wasting the day, she suggested filming close-up emotional scenes at the Mumbai set in Madh Island. However, after a couple of days, her discomfort increased, prompting the team to stop shooting entirely. The unit expects to resume in about two weeks once she recovers.
