Shikarpur PS-9 By-Election: PPP Candidate Declared Winner

The seat fell vacant following the death of PPP leader Agha Siraj Durrani.

SHIKARPUR: The unofficial and provisional results of the by-election held in Sindh Assembly constituency PS-9 Shikarpur-3 have been announced.

Polling was conducted from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm without any break. Out of 178 polling stations, 70 were declared sensitive. A total of 277,792 voters were registered in the constituency.

According to the non-final, unofficial results from all polling stations, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Agha Shehbaz Ali Durrani emerged victorious by securing 73,554 votes.

Meanwhile, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) candidate Rashidullah Shah secured 9,412 votes, finishing second.
