Sheikh Rashid invite in Rawalpindi for long march
Rawalpindi: (Staff Reporter) Former federal minister Sheikh Rashid has said the long march will be accorded a warm welcome in Rawalpindi.
Furthermore the Awami Muslim League leader said “I am back in Rawalpindi for arrangements. Rawalpindi will give a historic welcome to the long march,”
He said whoever is real is standing by former Prime Minister Imran Khan. He is also said, he has no ‘idea about the talks’ between the government and the PTI. However, he added that negotiations are the best way to get out of problems.
Moreover “We just want elections. We don’t want confrontation with the armed forces. There is a question mark about the Rangers. They should stay in structures and protect the structures,” he said.
“I am not lying for years and the establishment has not threatened me,” He claimed that the enthusiasm he saw in Lahore is matchless. “Lal Haveli is the headquarters of revolution, he said adding that no one can dare damage it,” he said stressing that the PDM politics is over.
Meanwhile Sheikh Rashid is an ally of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan who has been on a campaign for snap polls since his ouster through a vote of no-confidence in April.
He alleges the United States sponsored the regime change because of his independent foreign policy on Russia, China and Afghanistan. He has been leading a march to the federal capital for the past four days for what he called ‘real freedom movement’.
