Shehbaz Sharif Meets PPP Delegation Led by Asif Ali Zardari
The delegation congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on assuming the position of Prime Minister.
Islamabad: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with former President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari-led delegation of the Pakistan Peoples Party last night.
The delegation of the Pakistan Peoples Party included Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah.
The delegation congratulated Shehbaz Sharif on assuming the position of Prime Minister and expressed good wishes, saying that Asif Ali Zardari assured the Prime Minister that the Pakistan Peoples Party would stand with the government for the economic stability and prosperity of Pakistan.
The Prime Minister said that he is grateful to the almighty and to the people from the bottom of his heart who once again provided the opportunity to serve Pakistan by electing him as the chosen servant of Pakistan in the Parliament on the trust of his allied parties. He expressed gratitude for their trust, and said that with the grace of God and their hard work, they are determined to work day and night for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan. In the meeting, Senator Ishaq Dar, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, and former caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab Syed Mohsin Naqvi were also present.
