
Shehbaz Pledges Full Support for KP Flood Victims
The PM and Army Chief pledge full support to victims during a tour of devastated regions.
KP – (Special Correspondent / Web Desk) – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Army Chief General Asim Munir visited the flood-hit areas of Swat, Buner, and Shangla to show support and oversee relief work. This comes after record-breaking rains caused severe damage across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Tragically, the bad weather has led to the loss of many lives. Rescue teams are working hard, recently recovering more victims in Swabi district. The government has promised to use all national resources to help communities recover and rebuild.
During the visit, the leaders praised the brave efforts of rescue workers, soldiers, and volunteers. They also stressed the need to follow building laws to prevent such disasters in the future, highlighting that building on riverbanks is very dangerous.
The whole nation are standing together during this difficult time. From local volunteers to international well-wishers like the UK’s King Charles, messages of care and support are pouring in for the people of Pakistan.
