Islamabad-Shehbaz Assures Swift Action to Reduce Electricity Burden, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has pledged that a reduction in electricity prices will be announced soon.

During his speech at the Independence Day ceremony held at PNCA, the Prime Minister introduced a detailed five-year economic plan aimed at addressing the country’s financial issues.

In his address, PM Shehbaz Sharif pledged to combat inflation, cut electricity costs, and foster Pakistan’s development. He extended Independence Day greetings to the nation, paying tribute to the martyrs and veterans who fought for the country’s freedom in 1947.

He urged the youth to concentrate on their studies and acquire skills, advising them to avoid being swayed by negative agendas or engaged in anti-state activities. He highlighted that the enemy is now employing digital terrorism tools to undermine the country’s progress.

Acknowledging the persistent economic difficulties, PM Shehbaz Sharif noted the decline in various sectors and stressed the need for accountability and future planning. He recognized the public’s struggle with inflation and unemployment and called for a renewed commitment to progress, leaving past failures behind.

The Prime Minister emphasized that reducing electricity bills is crucial for industrial growth and increasing exports. He noted that Pakistan, once ahead of China, now lags behind and must address external threats, including digital misinformation.

PM Shehbaz Sharif reaffirmed his dedication to Pakistan’s economic development and expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir and Palestine, promising ongoing support until their independence is realized.
