ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s vice-captain Shadab Khan has resumed training following his recovery from shoulder surgery, offering hope for a potential return to international cricket in the near future.
Shadab shared a video on his social media platforms, showcasing his training and rehabilitation process, signaling progress after weeks of recovery.
The right-arm all-rounder underwent surgery on his right shoulder on July 5 in England, after consultations with the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) medical panel. The procedure came after a persistent injury that forced him to miss key tournaments, including the Asia Cup.

Since the surgery, Shadab has been following a structured rehabilitation programme under the supervision of medical experts.
A vital part of Pakistan’s white-ball squads, Shadab has so far represented the country in 6 Tests, 70 One Day Internationals (ODIs), and 112 T20 Internationals (T20Is), making significant contributions with both bat and ball.
His return to training will be closely monitored by the PCB and fans alike, as Pakistan looks ahead to a busy international calendar.
