Seven Military Personnel Martyred in Terrorist Attack in North Waziristan
Rawalpindi (News Desk): A tragic incident unfolded in Mir Ali, North Waziristan, where terrorists attacked a security checkpoint, resulting in the martyrdom of seven military personnel, including a Lieutenant Colonel and a Captain. Additionally, six terrorists were neutralized during a subsequent clearance operation.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), terrorists launched an assault on the security checkpoint, colliding with an explosives-laden vehicle, followed by multiple suicide attacks. As a result of these attacks, a portion of the building collapsed, claiming the lives of five brave soldiers.
Following the self-sacrificing attacks, Lieutenant Colonel Kashif led a clearance operation, eliminating all six terrorists involved. Tragically, during the intense exchange of fire, Lieutenant Colonel Kashif and Captain Ahmed Badar embraced martyrdom.
The martyred Lieutenant Colonel Kashif, aged 39, hailed from Karachi, while Captain Muhammad Ahmed Badar, aged 23, belonged to Talagang.

The ISPR disclosed that among the other martyrs are Havildar Sabir, Naik Khurshid, and soldiers Naseer, Raja, and Sajjad.
The ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s security forces’ unwavering resolve to eradicate terrorism from the country, emphasizing that the sacrifices of our courageous soldiers only strengthen our determination.
