Security Measures Lead to Suspension of All Visits at Adiala Jail
All visits to Adiala Jail in Rawalpindi, including those for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, have been put on hold until October 18 due to security concerns.
Sources reveal that this restriction applies to all inmates, barring visits from party officials, lawyers, and family members, specifically including those who wish to see PTI Chairman Imran Khan.
The jail authorities have cited increased security measures in Islamabad and Rawalpindi in preparation for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) event as the reason for this ban.
As per the sources, the Punjab government made the decision to suspend all visits, impacting all prisoners at Adiala Jail, not just Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
