PM Shehbaz Sharif Lauds Security Forces for Foiling Terrorist Infiltration

RAWALPINDI– Pakistan’s security forces successfully thwarted an infiltration attempt by terrorists in North Waziristan’s Ghulam Khan Kili, eliminating all 16 infiltrators in a timely operation.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists attempted to cross the Pakistan-Afghanistan border during the night of March 22-23. Security forces launched a swift operation, engaging in an intense exchange of fire and neutralizing all 16 terrorists.

The ISPR further highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing demand for effective border management by the Afghan interim government, urging them to fulfill their responsibilities and prevent the use of Afghan soil for cross-border terrorism targeting Pakistan.

In response to the successful operation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lauded the bravery and dedication of Pakistan’s security forces, assuring that terrorist attempts will never succeed.
