(News desk)Security Forces Eliminate 30 Terrorists in North Waziristan Infiltration Attempts
Pakistan’s security forces successfully foiled two infiltration attempts along the Pak-Afghan border in North Waziristan, eliminating 30 terrorists associated with an Indian-backed network, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
During the nights of July 1–2 and July 2–3, 2025, vigilant troops detected suspicious movements of militants from the group “Fitna al Khawarij” in the Hassan Khel area. Swift and precise action by the security forces led to the neutralization of all 30 infiltrators. A large cache of weapons, explosives, and ammunition was recovered from the site.
ISPR praised the military personnel for their professionalism, vigilance, and swift response, which averted a potential security crisis. The statement also called on the Afghan authorities to prevent their territory from being used by foreign elements against Pakistan, reaffirming the Pakistan Army’s unwavering commitment to national defense and counterterrorism.
President Zardari Commends Armed Forces’ Bravery
President Asif Ali Zardari lauded the successful counter-infiltration operation, paying tribute to the courage and resolve of Pakistan’s security forces. He termed the elimination of the terrorists a vital step toward ensuring national security.
“These operations are a clear message to those sponsoring terrorism against Pakistan. Our fight will continue until terrorism is completely eradicated,” he said, reaffirming Pakistan’s resolve to crush militant networks like Fitna al Khawaja
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Salutes Security Forces
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed deep appreciation for the armed forces’ timely and effective response. He stated that Pakistan’s military stands as an indomitable shield protecting the nation.
“The entire country is proud of our brave soldiers. Their sacrifices and dedication in safeguarding the homeland are unparalleled,” he said, reiterating the government’s determination to eliminate all forms of terrorism.
Interior Minister Naqvi Praises Troops for Swift Action
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the operation as a significant success, stating that the terrorists from the group “Fitna al-Hindustan” were dealt a crushing blow.
“These militants met a disgraceful end, and their backers will also face consequences,” Naqvi stated. He commended the security forces for their exceptional capabilities and assured that the nation firmly stands behind them in the fight against terrorism.
Naqvi concluded by emphasizing that the operation was a matter of national pride and demonstrated the unwavering resolve of Pakistan’s forces to defend every inch of the country.
