Security Forces Eliminate 10 Khwarij in DI Khan, Captain Sacrifices Life in Operation
Weapons and Ammunition Recovered from Killed Militants in Dera Ismail Khan Operation
Rawalpindi: On 20 March 2025, Pakistan’s Security Forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Dera Ismail Khan District, targeting the presence of Khwarij (militants).
The operation, which was executed with precision, saw security forces surrounding the militant hideout stealthily before engaging them effectively. As a result, all ten militants were neutralized in the intense firefight.
During the operation, Captain Hasnain Akhtar, aged 24, from District Jhelum, who was leading his troops from the front, displayed immense bravery. Tragically, he paid the ultimate price for his courage, embracing Shahadat (martyrdom) in the line of duty.
Captain Hasnain Akhtar was renowned for his bold actions and exemplary leadership in previous operations against terrorists. His sacrifice has been a testament to his unwavering commitment to the nation.
The operation also resulted in the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the killed militants, who were involved in various terrorist activities against law enforcement agencies and had carried out target killings of innocent civilians.

A sanitization operation is underway to ensure the area is cleared of any remaining militants. The Pakistani security forces have vowed to continue their efforts to eliminate terrorism from the country, with the ultimate sacrifice of brave officers like Captain Hasnain strengthening the resolve to rid Pakistan of such threats.
