Security Forces Conduct Operation in South Waziristan, 13 Militants Killed

RAWALPINDI: Security forces carried out an intelligence-based operation in South Waziristan, resulting in the elimination of 13 militants. The operation took place in the Sira Rogha area on the night between December 24 and 25, as confirmed by the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

According to ISPR, the security forces effectively targeted militant hideouts during the operation. The 13 militants killed were involved in terrorist activities against security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.

The ISPR further stated that the operation is part of ongoing efforts to eliminate militants from the region, with a sanitization operation continuing in the area. Security forces remain committed to eradicating the menace of terrorism in South Waziristan and the broader region.
