SSP Operations Islamabad chaired an important meeting regarding crime prevention

Islamabad: Securing the life and property of citizens is utmost priority; SSP Operations. Following the special directions of the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, the SSP Operations Malik Jameel Zafar directed all police officers to maintain high vigilance in the city to eradicate crimes and ensure an effective crackdown against criminals, a public relations officer said.

He said that, the SSP Operations Islamabad chaired an important meeting regarding crime prevention. The meeting was attended by SSP investigation, Zonal SPs, SDPOs and SHOs. He gave a 07 day ultimatum to SHOs to improve their performance.

SSP Operations said that challan of the cases under investigation should be sent to the courts, while the criminal gangs, absconder involved in murder, kidnapping, proclaimed offenders, TOs, drug dealers, professional beggars should be arrested as soon as possible.

He further directed all officers to arrest offenders involved in heinous crimes, especially those involved in murder and robbery cases and also make sure to increase the ratio of challan of cases and recoveries.

Dolphin and patrolling squad should be made more effective, there is zero tolerance on corruption, postings at police stations will be done only on the basis of performance, he added.

SSP Operations further said that zero tolerance policy will be adopted on negligence, and strict departmental action will have to be faced for negligence in protecting the life and property of the citizens, protection of life and property of citizens is our top priority, he maintained.

Chief Commissioner Islamabad visits Police Lines Headquarters

According to the details, Chief Commissioner Islamabad Muhammad Ali Randhawa visited Police Lines Headquarters Islamabad and met with Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and discussed various matters, a public relations officer said.

He said that, senior police officers from Islamabad Police were also present on the occasion. The Chief Commissioner paid homage at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered fatiha for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks.

A smartly turned-out police contingent presented a guard of honor to the Chief Commissioner. The Chief Commissioner also visited the firing range and Central Police Office.

During the visit, DIG Headquarters and AIG Operations briefed the Chief Commissioner on various matters related to Islamabad Police, which included crime prevention in the federal capital, anti-encroachment operations, new police stations, digitalization in Islamabad Police, and various construction projects.

Delegation of eminent scholars visits Central Police Office; meets IG Islamabad

According to the details, a delegation of eminent scholars and saints from all schools of thought, led by Chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan/ Ambassador of Peace Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad, visited the Central Police Office Islamabad.

The delegation met with Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi and discussed various matters. Senior police officers from Islamabad Police and distinguished scholars from all schools of thought were present at the occasion.

The Ambassador of Peace, Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad, said that our beloved country Pakistan is a great blessing from Allah. Pakistan currently needs unity, solidarity, and national cohesion.

For establishing peace in Pakistan, the unity of Muslims and the “Paigham-e-Pakistan” are extremely important. All scholars should promote religious harmony, tolerance, a violence-free society, and respect for humanity through their platforms.

The ” Paigham-e-Pakistan” is a great narrative and fatwa that has played an important role in ending terrorism, extremism, and sectarianism from our society.

He further said that they will make “Paigham-e-Pakistan” the voice of every household. He paid tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan’s armed forces, police, and all national security departments.

He praised IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi for holding open courts for the citizens. He affirmed that the entire nation, along with all scholars and saints, stands with Pakistan’s armed forces, security departments, police, and administration for the protection, defense, and security of the beloved country.

On this occasion, the IG Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi expressed his gratitude to Ambassador of Peace Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad and all the scholars. He acknowledged the significant role scholars are playing in establishing peace in Pakistan and promoting the unity of Muslims and the ” Paigham-e-Pakistan ” from their platforms.

He emphasized the importance of collective efforts for the progress of Pakistan, stating that today’s meeting will convey a message of love. He reiterated that the role of scholars in establishing peace in Pakistan is crucial, and that hostile forces aim to disrupt national cohesion by creating unrest.

By becoming a united nation, we can defeat the enemy. He vowed not to let the enemy’s nefarious agenda succeed in Pakistan.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation of scholars also presented the book of the great narrative ” Paigham-e-Pakistan ” to IG Islamabad.
