NEW DELHI: (Web Desk) – In the seventh match of the ICC T20 World Cup, Scotland defeated Italy by 73 runs.
Chasing a target of 208 runs, Italy fell short and were bowled out for 134 runs in 16.4 overs. Scotland became the first team in this T20 World Cup to score over 200 runs in a match.
Scotland’s George Munsey was the star performer, scoring 84 runs off 47 balls, including 13 fours and 2 sixes. Brandon McMullen added 41 runs off 19 balls, hitting 4 sixes.
