SC to take up 13 cases related to Imran Khan on Feb 9

PTI founder in the May 9 cases will also be heard.

Islamabad (Web Desk) — The Supreme Court of Pakistan has decided to take up thirteen cases involving Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan, including the Tosha Khana-II case, next week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A two-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahyah Afridi, with Justice Shahid Bilal Hassan as a member, will hear the petitions on February 9, 2026.

In the Tosha Khana-II case, a trial court had sentenced Imran Khan to three years’ imprisonment. However, the Islamabad High Court later suspended the verdict. Subsequently, PTI challenged the trial court’s decision in the Supreme Court, arguing that the judgment failed to meet legal requirements.

Appeals against the bail granted to the PTI founder in the May 9 cases will also be heard. Additionally, Imran Khan’s appeal against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in a defamation case has been fixed for hearing on the same date.

The Supreme Court registrar’s office has issued notices to all concerned parties in connection with the scheduled hearings.
