Inquiry launched into Imran Khan’s leaked photo from SC
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court has launched an investigation into the leaked photo of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf founder Imran Khan during his appearance in the court via a video link in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) laws amendments case.
The bench comprises Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa, Justice Aminuddin Khan, Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail, Justice Athar Minallah and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi is hearing the case
The PTI founder today appeared before a five-member bench via video link hearing the case when a picture of him was taken and leaked on social media.
Khan was seen wearing a light blue shirt in the picture. The picture was apparently taken from a mobile as the former prime minister was seen on the screen of the laptop.

According to sources, the SC has directed officials to examine the CCTV footage of the courtroom to identify the individual responsible for circulating the picture.
The picture was taken in violation of courtroom rules, they said and added that the police would take action against the person who circulated it.
This is the first time that Imran Khan has appeared in the apex court for a hearing since his arrest last year from Zaman Park in Toshakhana reference.
