SBP Revises Bank Hours For Ramazan 2026

Islamabad (Web Desk) – The State Bank of Pakistan has revised operational and public dealing hours for all commercial banks, Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and Microfinance Banks (MFBs) across Pakistan for the holy month of Ramazan 2026, to facilitate citizens and bank employees during fasting.

SBP announces bank holiday on 1st Ramazan for Zakat

According to a circular issued by the SBP, internal office hours have been streamlined to ensure smooth banking operations without overburdening staff.

During Ramazan, Monday through Thursday office hours will be from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, observed continuously without a break. On Fridays, the working hours will be further shortened, running from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, also without a break. These adjustments aim to maintain essential services while respecting employees’ fasting schedules.
