Pakistan & KSA – (Web Desk) – On Thursday, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan reaffirmed their strong strategic defense partnership during a high-level meeting in Riyadh. The discussions follow the September 2025 mutual defense agreement, which states that an attack on one country is considered an attack on both.
The meeting focused on enhancing cooperation for global peace, addressing security concerns, and reviewing past collaboration on counterterrorism efforts. Military ties, including joint work involving JF-17 fighter jets, were also highlighted. Senior officials from both countries attended, emphasizing the importance of this enduring partnership.

While official accounts praised the close “brotherly” relations between the two militaries, political voices in Pakistan, particularly supporters of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, expressed criticism. They focused on General Munir’s recent statements amid Khan’s imprisonment and vision-related health concerns, which have prompted a Supreme Court-ordered medical examination this week.
